Occupy Wall Street

On the one month anniversary of the Occupy Wall Street movement, I decided to go down to wall street and lend my support to the cause as well as take photos and talk to some of the people that are there. I found that the movement is a peaceful one and there is a lot of information that is being shared and expressed, although the media is not reporting the stories about the movement correctly. Also, a lot of people of color are there as either put of the organized movement or supporters of the movement, but you would not think this was the case if you based this opinion on the media coverage . The day was beautiful and even the more than 50 police officers that surrounded the small park were on their best behavior. If you have an opportunity to visit the park, then please do so.

Worldwide Photo Walk 2011

These are some of the photos that I took while attending the Scott Kelby’s worldwide photo walk. I attended the photo walk that took place in Long Island City, Queens. It was an overcast day and there where about 40 photographers that participated in the photo walk. See you guys again next year.
