Today was the Championship games for the 16 and under and the 13 and under teams. The first game was played by the 13 and under; it featured the gray team, who finished in 1st place during the regular season, vs. the orange team who finished in 2nd place during the regular season. This game was close from start to finish with the half time score tied at 31 points. The gray team, who was the favorite to win, had a 6 point lead with about 5 mins to go in the game, but the orange team responded by taking a 1 point lead with one minute left in the game. With 6 seconds left in the game the gray team made two free throws to take the lead by 1 point, giving their team the victory by a score of 78 – 77 points… The second game was played by the 16 and under; it featured the blue team, who finished in 1st place during the regular season, vs. the cream team, who finished in second place during the regular season, (the blue team beat the cream team by 1 point in over time during the regular season). Just like the first game with the 13 and under, this game was close the entire way with the cream team holding a small lead throughout the game, but with just a few seconds left in the game the blue team was able to tie the game and send it into over time. But in over time the cream team was too much to handle and they won the game very easily. I hope you like the action.

Today was the all-star games for the 16 and under and the 13 and under teams. The first game was played by the 13 and under all-stars; it featured the blue team vs. the white team. The blue was leading most of the second half by as much as 12 points, but the white team battled back and took the lead by 2 points with two minutes left in the game. The blue team ultimately won the game by going on a quick rally where they scored 6 straights points to finish out the game… The second game was played by the 16 and under all-stars; it featured the yellow team vs. the gray team. The game was back and forth for the first 5 minutes of the game, but after that it was all about the yellow team as they lead most of the game by double digits. The grey team made a late run to get the score to single digits, but it was not good enough as the yellow team ultimately won the game by double digits. I hope you like the action.
